Background:
I was asked to make a yarn based on Doctor Who, using lots of blue and colours inspired by the picture provided.
Story:
The oldest question.
Hidden in plain sight.
Doctor Who.
A time traveller.
With me through childhood, then not seen for decades.
Reappearing for my own children, and for me! The child who never grew up (well … not unless absolutely necessary.)
Twelve different faces so far.
It reminds me of the faces I’ve worn throughout the years.
The fresh-faced child, rosy and cheeky. The growing girl, the burgeoning adult, the finally independent woman.
The student, the mother, the partner, the explorer.
The friend, the mentor, the maker, the fighter.
Different roles, different faces, all the same.
